This center has transportation, dining, activities, and is open for seniors during regular week-day hours. An ERBA office (see below) is also located here to assist seniors in a variety of areas.

Life Center offers assistance and information on services offered by the federal gov't, state agencies and county wide local agencies.

Life Center is not a charity organization, is federally funded and relies on volunteers in addition to a paid staff. Life Center will also provide transportation to all seniors especially those in need of physical assistance.  

Marshall Senior Center
Harlan Hall, 6th and Locust, Marshall 
Renovation is near completion. This historic building will be used to provide a meeting place for area seniors, provide Peace Meals etc.
Peace Meals 

Seniors 60 yrs of age (or their spouse) are eligible for discounted prices on a nutritious hot lunch. Meals are $2.50 for lunches served at congregate sites or $2.75 delivered to the home.

Reservations for the meals must be made 24 hours in advance.

This is mostly an all-volunteer program funded through the Federal Older Americans Act. No one will be refused service due to an inability to pay.
